Metrodome collapse is the big rumor right now and after Minnesota was pounded with 17 inches of snow and the New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings had their game pushed back until Monday because of the snow and New York being unable to get into town.
However, now it seems like the roof is no longer able to be seen above the bowl of the stadium.
"The chef lives in Elliot Park, the neighborhood just south of the Metrodome. And he came in and told us that it had collapsed, Chris Cowles, the security directo of the Holiday Inn across from the Metrodome said. "So we went up to the 14th floor to look at it. It looks kind of like a big dish of sugar,"
This is not only scary, but puts into question the Giants and Vikings game more than it was earlier this morning. The Giants did not bring cold weather gear with them on the trip and the likely choice for the game would be the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium — which is outdoors.
I'm sure this isn't the last we'll hear of this story going forward.
