Works with 10.5.8
Itunes 10 (i think 10.1)
Make itunes look like this.
(you can leave iTunes running this wole time, just quit and open it again later)
ok. First...
http << CLICK ME once you get here click the "Download file" on the right.
you should download a .zip file
When you download it and find it, un zip it (just dub click on it)
then you now have a folder with 2 files
iTunes.rsrc and textfiles.plst (i think)
you have to replace those with the files in ur itunes.
Applications>ITunes right click "show package contents
Contents>Resources
now here is like 140 files... iTunes.rsrc should be in here.
move it to a safe place (make a backup folder in the folder with the new files)
and when its out, replace it with the new one you just downloaded.
so thats iTunes.rsrc
now in that same folder (almost next to the itunes.rsrc file) you should find "English.Iproj"
go in there and find "TextStyles.plist" its the same name as the file u downloaded
back it up in that same folder u just made to back up the other one
and drag the last file you downloaded "TextStyles.plist into here.
so you just replaced those 2 files.
and second...
you open Terminal.app
Applications>utilities>Terminal.app
copy and paste this:
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Courier; color: #456f2d}span.s1 {font: 12.0px Helvetica; color: #000000} defaults write com.apple.iTunes high-contrast-mode-enable -bool TRUE
then hit enter and quit terminal.
Now you have to quit itunes and re open it and it should be murked out.
SPARKNOTES:
download that file ^^^
replace the 2 files u downloaded with the existing ones
(iTunes>Contents>resources. and iTunes>contents>resources>English.Iproj)
then throw this into terminal
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Courier; color: #456f2d}span.s1 {font: 12.0px Helvetica; color: #000000} defaults write com.apple.iTunes high-contrast-mode-enable -bool TRUE
(then hit enter)
and restart itunes.
if u want ill post a video tutorial, but its really simple.
good luck, oh and if u fuck up anything, yeah, not my fault.
