Search barred this and nothing came up ... I bought this year's full tilt doggers and love them except when combined with my 08/09 marker griffon bindings there is some movement in the toe. The binding does not have any vertical adjustment options. My buddy recommended I buy new (bigger I'm assuming) AFD's. Good idea? Or are there any other options to help fix my problem ... +k for help. Thanks
But that's the thing ... the bindings are not adjustable vertically. The only thing that can be adjusted is the din and how far back/forward you want the heel piece. The heel piece is in the right spot yet there is still some movement in the toe.
Correct me if I am wrong but....so what you're saying is you bought new boots. Didn't check to see if they fit the bindings and now the nose is sliding around when clipped in?
take them to your shop and see if they can do anything, and try pm, email, or call someone from marker/fulltilt/k2 to see if theres anything they will do about it, as far as i know, toe slop from certain older full tilt boots and marker bindings is a known problem
This is a problem with the first generation Marker Jester and Griffon bindings with FT and Dalbello boots (because of the boots' toe height tolerances when these were made). Marker has admitted there is a problem with the allowed tolerance in their binding toe wings and these boots. The new (since 09/10) Marker Jester and Griffon bindings have new toe wings to address the tolerance issue. Have your shop contact Marker and they can get you new toe wings for your older binding.
