Wearing long sleeve shirts and hoodies, the leaves changing, winter hype, being able to drink hot coffee in the morning, not sweating to death when you're doing anything (especially trying to fall asleep), the first flurry, bonfires, cold outdoor parties. I think fall is my favorite season. Period.

And people from Maine... Shipyard Pumpkinhead anybody!? Definitely one of the best parts of fall.

... i also used to get really excited about the start of x-country season because it was always the perfect temperature for running and we'd be in the woods all the time

why do they seem so much more epic in the fall?
i'm watching it set over COP as we speak and it is gorgeous. my rez room has floor to ceiling windows so i get to see it set practically every night while i eat dinner and i'm always surprised by it.
