honestly.... the halo saga lost it for me. I was a die hard halo 1 fan and have put hundreds possibly thousands of hours into that game... then Halo 2 came out which blew everyone's minds cause you could have TWO MACHINE GUNS, PLASMA SWORDS,  AND ROCKET LAUNCHERS LOCKED ON!!1!!!1ONE! Hundreds more hours down the drain,  but then halo 3 came out... and it was over.

agreed. there were dipshits shutting down the servers for halo2. played the beta for this game and its nothing like any of the other halos. kinda interested in where its going

I'm getting pretty excited. I wasn't sure how I felt about the beta, and wasn't sure if I wanted to buy this or Black Ops. But now after watching more and more videos of the reach gameplay and forge etc.. I'm definitely going with this rather than COD which I think will probably be too similar to MW2 for me. That's just my opinion though, lets not make this a fight between COD and Halo again.

Got Halo 1 as soon as it came out. Biggest fanboy ever, hours and hours and hours invested in that game.

Halo 2 was pre-ordered, hours and hours and hours, and I was stoked because it was my first Xbox Live multiplayer experience.

Halo 3, still stoked but it's losing its feel, still beat it on Legendary and played online a ton.

Halo ODST. FUCK THAT SHIT.

Reach: not buying it until I trust it's legit but the Halo 3 / ODST combination put me off of this shit hard.

It feels like Reach is going to be more like ODST with mostly non-super spartan main characters. The online is looking pretty good though so I'm probably going to pick it up after seeing what people say about it.

you must be 13 years old if you think halo 3 was the best game ever. Halo 2 was better and Halo 1 is the best console FPS (they should release it with the same graphics and everything and live but that's another discussion). Halo reach is between 1 and 2 for me (judging from the beta). If you hated halo reach it's probably because you suck so just go play COD

haha when did i say i hated reach? i said it was fun judging from the beta

the rest is purely opinion but admittedly 3 was the first one i played. the first FPS i played really, besides goldeneye. but i dont see how you cant admit the graphics and gameplay got better..

The fact that you think graphics are more important than game play makes me question your judgement.

The average gamers fascination with amazing graphics is why almost every new video game sucks. Most companies focus more on looking pretty than actually being fun. I don't know about you but I play video games for fun and competition when I have free time from school and sports. If I want good graphics I'll go outside
