Who was Shane Mcconkey?
He was that guy that helped design your skis, he was that guy who would be the first to strap on some skis and a parachute and jump of gnarly things, he was that guy that influenced everyone; not only freestyle skiers, but also racers and basejumpers, he was that guy that was always having fun, he would never surprise you in any of his segments because you just knew that whatever Mcconkey would come up with, would be gnarly as hell ! RIP shane!

Who is Eric Pollard?
Probably the most stylish skier out there, he was a pioneer of bringing park tricks to the back country, spinning both natural and unnatural of huge backcountry kickers. He also designed his own line of powderskis with LINE, the Elizabeth, is his fat parkski of choice, followed by the Sir francis bacon, a very fat and noodely allround ski, and one of the fattest skis around; the EP pro.
It is rumoured that he skis more backwards than he skis forwards....

Who was CR Johnson?
One of the most beloved skiers out there, he suffered a traumatic spinal injury that put him in a 2 week (?) coma. when he woke up he had to relearn everything; speaking, walking, using his hands, and skiing. In no time his strong will got him through this and he was back hucking cliffs ! His coma changed the way he looked at life, he would no longer take every day for granted and he would enjoy every single minute of his life to the fullest!
Unfortunately, not very long after his comeback, a freak accident took him away for the second time, this time for good....

Who is candide thovex?
he's a french dude, many tricks that are considered modern today were already being thrown by candide back in the day....

Seth Morisson;
skiing legend, still shreds very hard, has become a bit unknown/unloved in the past years, but he's still a legend !
Alaska is where he feels at home... (he's more known/loved over at TGR....)
Pep Fujas:
Just like seth, a living legend, i always think of these two as brothers, dunno why....
Pep has teamed up with the Nimbus Independent crew and shreds in their webisodes, together with Pollard, mahre, and many others!

(both him and seth have a signature ski from K2, respective the K2 ObSethed and the K2 Kung Fujas, also the "fujative", but this ski is no longer in production)
You should also known that tom wallisch is known under many names; tod wallnuts, tim wamsacks, and many others. He's also called the king of afterbang and the pretzelman...
Jon Olsson: one of the older guys, some say he's turning into a chick, but i still digg his style!
He's also probably one of the richest skiers out there, he drives in a custom Lamborghini with a skibox, he has his own company called Yniq, that makes goggles and stuff, and he's also the organizer of one of the most famous Skiing contests/events on the planet; the Jon Olsson Invitational, and the Jon Olsson Super Sessions, check his website for more info....
Jon is also known for inventing new tricks such as the kang flip, and recently his Tornado flip? or something..., It was a bit of a flop, seeing how Sammy carlson throwed a triple rodeo, not very long after that, and he didn't give his trick such a ridiculous name ....
Anyways, i'm gonna stop here, this list is far from complete, and i'd like to encourage others to continue it, or add relevant stuff i forgot to mention...
