Do any of you know where I could get a good telescopic pole for filming with a gopro. Oh and I was also wondering if hanging a weight on the end of the pole would help stabilize it. K+ for feedback
There are two options, the most legit option would be to go out at buy the tripod mount for the gopro which allows to you to put the gopro on anything with a standard tripod screw and find a telescopic monopod (there are tons of them out there with several different features and lengths and stuff. The other option, which is slightly less legit but cheaper, is to go out and find a cheap telescopic pole at walmart (it may be attached to something like a squeegee or duster or something, but if it doesn't unscrew you can always find away to permanently detach it) and then get the handle bar mount and put that on there.
I just got my mount in today and I got an old kayak paddle out of the garage and sawed off the fin thingy and the handle part. It's nice and light to since it's carbon fibre. I'm sure it would work with a canoe paddle or somethig like that.
