Skiing used to be a pure sport filled with adrenaline and excitement. With all of the new technologies and equipment skiiing is no longer the same, it is too easy and not how it was meant to be. Skiing of the future is only going to get worse and the skiing of now is nothing compared to what it used to be.

How?
we still use skis, just ones that get us down the hill with more fun in mind
we still use poles, just shorter
we still use boots, just with less worry for injury
we still use ski clothes, just to keep us more warm
we still use chairlifts, just to get us up the hill more times, in order to enjoy the hill more
we still use goggles, but now they make us see easier
the main diffrences may just be a helmet to keep us safe, so please do explain.....

i dont understand how u think equipment makes it easier? sure some skis are better than others, but can you really argue the reason u cant do a trick is because u dont have "good enough" skis? .....i do agree comps are going downhill in my opinion. Its super sad how Casabon doesnt get rewarded more, he's trying to be as stylish as possible. Id rather see casabon put down a sick run, than a parade of double flips

It's not real anymore because the powder skis are far to easy to ski on, it takes the sport away from the sport and ruins it.

IMO you are a piece of shit and im sure everyone on NS agrees with that. skiing is more fun now because of twintips and more buttery skis and because of reverse camber skis. you don't have to get your panties in a knot because you suck dick at the sport.

you don't have to use the newest rockered 130mm waist powder skis if you don't want to. personally i use 115m waist sir francis bacons for pow. they are much easier to ski pow in then my 82m waist all mountain ledges. but does that mean I can't use them because they are easier? no, but to each his own i guess.

ya when macconkey started putting rockers on skis people said it would take the sport out and it would be to easy and no one could get face shots but things worked out great and it progressed ski design.
