Believe it or not, some people don't desire to work shitty paying retail jobs at odd hours, all for the name of ski-bumming. hahahahah. I am one of those people. In my quest to become a career firefighter, I need to travel all across the US to test with many departments. This costs a lot of money. Due to a poor economy, and lack of a well paying job, I need to come up with some money to travel in the near future. (Portland, OR this week. Denver within 2 weeks)

To fund my many upcoming travels, I need to get rid of some extras I have laying around. Here's what I've got:

686 ACC Syndicate Pants
Chocolate brown color
20k waterproofing
Insulated
Size: M
Like brand new, no marks
$100 or reasonable offer.

686/Levis 514 Pants
15,000 waterproofing
Minor fraying on heels, no other marks

Secondly, I do vinyl dicuts! I try not to whore myself all over the forums, but I have done some work for a few NS'rs.

And I really don't want to claim or name drop, but I've done a bunch of work for Ryan Schmies (K2) Alex Applegate (Liberty, First Drop), and Andy Harris (k2). As well as a few websites and businesses.

I kinda specialize in difficult and detailed stickers, and custom orders. Here's some examples:

That's awesome man, it's a great job. What department are you on? I was working for a suburb of Madison, WI for 6 years before moving out west. I missed it after a week, haha.

bump for fellow firefighter crew, I'm a volly on the Oregon coast and in paramedic school right now also taking the Portland test on Thursday. Are you in the morning or after noon... ranked or un-ranked test? You should put your name in over in Bosie I heard they might be having a caree test in the near future.

doesnt have anything to do with your sale but..

If you're going to portland look into Tualitin Valley Fire Rescue as well as Columbia River Fire and Rescue.

CRFR is the 2nd or 3rd highest paying in the state who I work closely with every summer as a wildland fire fighter, same with TVFR. Portland fire doesnt have a good rep but good luck. Are you just going for a firefighter? or you have your paramedic? because I dont know who will hire just a firefighter right now (paid). You could try to get on as a wildland firefighter for the state or feds. Pays really well and you can still volunteer with a local fire dept.

Yep, I'm taking the Portland test (leaving tonight). I'm taking the morning test. And the non-EMT. I had my EMT a few years ago, but (like a retard) let it expire. I'd really like to get it again, but I can't afford to head back to school.

I'll be heading out to Denver next week as well. Taking their test. The good thing about these big departments, they don't have the requirements that the smaller ones do. I'm sure if I had my medic, I'd already be on the job somewhere. Hopefully in the future though.

haha, true. But firefighting isn't a job for me. I'm disappointed when I leave my shifts, and can't wait to go back. I have no problem running calls all night long.

But, when you work a job you're not stoked on, working shitty hours makes it suck even worse.

How's the saying go? "If you do something you love, you'll never work a day in your life"

I could do that for $3 shipped, $2 with a SASE.

And bump from just getting back from Denver. Left 3:30PM on Thursday. Made it to Denver at 1AM after a horrible drive thorough Wyoming that included snow, rain, olympic quality ice, 3 semis crashing right in front of me, and pea soup fog for hours at a time.

Crashed at a friends house for 2 hours, then headed to the testing site. Got there at 4:15AM, and waited in the lobby til the test at 7:30. Through a series of bad luck, asshole people, and me being too fucking nice, I ended up not being able to test. I immediately left Denver and drove back to SLC. Just got home. 1077 miles in 24hours and 45 minutes. All I have to show for it is me getting completely fucked over.

I've been in contact with some people from 4frnt, and we're going to see about an "official" CR sticker. Give me a couple days for that. If nothing works out, then I'll start doing some custom CR designs for people.
