I know this should be in site discussion but because this is the most noob filled forum I felt this had a place here. I also know there is a noob guide already but noobs don't go to site discussion normally.

Okay, the searchbar is a wonderful tool that should always be used before creating a thread that deals with anything except a scenario that pertains to you specifically (remember personal promos/edits go in the video section). It is located on the upper left side of your window and is a textbox next to a scroll bar that says forum. It looks like this.

Now just enter your thread topic and press search. If some topics appear search around and see if what you wanted to post has already been shared or asked. If not post away. If it has then refrain from reposting please.

haha I love when decently new members try to look cool by posting well known facts!

Searchbar threads and people saying shit like "use the SEARCHBARRRRR!!@@#@#???!!!!!" are equally as annoying as the people who don't use the searchbar imo.

isnt it a bit hypocritical(spellcheck?) that if you would have searched around you could have found a million other threads on people needing to use the searchbar...

I know I'm new, I'm just sick of new members getting hated on when they screw up. It drives people away from the site and makes us seem like TGR or 4chan.

jea I get that I was just fuckin with you. There must be some better way for NS to notify people to use searchbar....like maybe a disclaimer every time you make a new thread above the text box that says to use the searchbar before making a thread...

haha word, some people just don't get it. I saw the other thread you posted in where no_steeze had to post the embedded links to show the thread creator that there's sooo many other threads exactly like the one he created with tonnes of music. Someday people will learn
