The X Games is in full swing with a full day of ski events going down this Saturday. It was time for the ladies to take to the stunt ditch and throw down. The livestream continued to be a stream of consciousness from a seemingly random selection of people talking about an even more random selection of nonsense. Bring back the athlete stories or something, anything but this, please. Anyhow, that aside, some rad skiing went down. Let's see what happened.

Yujin Jang rookie and first South Korean skier to perform at X Games kicked things off. She opened things up with huge left 900, maintaining amplitude was a struggle and a few missed grabs left her with a 69.66. Sabria Cakmakli lost a shoe on her first hit, a switch left 7 - not the first Tyrolia mystery release we've seen in competition. Riley Jacobs, another rookie, opened her run with a lovely right 900 stale to left 7 combo, the rest of her run was clean and scored an 81.66. Dillan Glennie skied with the most aggression of anyone so far, getting 8+ feet out of the pipe on one wall, she clipped the deck a little which docked her score a bit, 74.66. Svea's first hit AO flat 5 was monstrous and her final hit 900 had some serious pop. This earned her 85.33. Amy Fraser had a scratched run after not quite getting a 900 around. Eileen, returning for the first time since 2021, batting a hip injury and wearing bedazzled goggles dropped second last. Eileen showed her dominance, opening combo of right 900 Buick to left 900 Japan and closing her run with an AO flat 5 to flair combo. Her amplitude peaked at 11'4" and earned a well-deserved 94.66 - this would be tough to beat. Defending champ Zoe Atkin dropped last, her amplitude varied a lot more than Eileen's 89.00 was enough for 2nd with Svea in 3rd at the end of round 1.

Jang couldn't get her first hit down cleanly so would scratch this - ditto for Sabrina. Riley Jacobs had a few bobbles so would keep her first run score. Dillan cleaned her run up and pushed past Riley with an 83.00. Svea Irving's mid run 7 to switch 7 combo was super clean, she added to her amplitude from run one breaking the 10-foot amplitude barrier. This built on her score to 87.33 - providing some breathing room in 3rd. Amy Fraser put down her switch DTP 9 after being undone by that trick in run 1. She closed the run with back-to-back 9s, she almost lost it in the flat bottom before the final two hits but held it together - her run had 3 900s and the judges must've missed it as it wasn't rewarded highly. Eileen went down on her first hit 900 in run 2 but still have 5.66 points between herself and Zoe. Zoe boosted her amplitude on run 1 getting 12 feet out of the pipe on her opening left 5 mute - tweaked to fuck. Her final hit switch DTP 720 was super clean but she missed the tail - "I'll get the grab next time" This was enough for 90.66.

Run three saw some scratched runs and not much trouble to the podium. Svea dropped for run 3 trying to increase her breathing room, she went Japan to opp Japan on her left 5 on hit too. The rest of the run wasn't as clean as could be. Amy Fraser put down the cleanest switch 900 of the night for her, she squeaked her last 9 in and was awarded a 90. Eileen did Eileen things and added a point to her score but she was untouchable all night. However, Zoe had one chance to change the podium but fell.
