Knuckle huck is everyone's favorite event, sure the judging is even more whack than slope, big air and pipe but it's fun, creative and downright silly. It's anyone's game and we were super excited for this one. Without further ado lets talk about it!
Dani Bacher pulled out of knuckle huck, Dennis Ranalter took his place and kicked things off sending a huge nosebutter left dub 10, he bailed but had a huge smile. Great to see ya here Dennis. Cody also played dub club with a butter 12. Juho AKA @baconjuhis was playing with a misty 5 variation. Quinn has said he's trained for this competition and loves it - nollie 1080. Henrik proves he's the goat with a switch tail butter bio 9 type thing that was pure style. Coby had a true disregard for requiring a landing. He nosebuttered into a dub 12 and landed in the parking lot, spraying the crowd. Jesper broke the laws of physics the most, with a switch backflip to knuckle bounce switch backie - you may get underscored in slopestyle but this event was made for you. Round one was complete. Jesper, Colby, Henrik was our top 3 after 1.
Dennis cleaned up his dub 12 - a thing of beauty. Juho Saastamoinen nollied into a wheelie and front flipped out of it - physics has left the chat. Quinn is so stylish in this event - his switch tailbutter into a rodeo 5 was silly. Henrik tried to Griselda flip, looked like he was going to die for a second but brought it to his feet, it was more a butter 3 than a Griselda. The stream decided to die for a second time during A Halls run... idk what happened there but he didn't break into the top 6. Colby went for a switch tail-to-nose butter dub 12 mute which he grabbed at it a couple times but it pushed him up the board to the number 1 spot. Jesper also ignored the landing again - tried a handdrag 9 - missed the drag but the boost was enough to put him in the driving seat. After 2, the halfway point, Jesper was followed by Colby and Juho.
Dennis calmed things down with a steezy cork 5 blunt. I don't know what you call what Cody did in his third run, a switch Lincoln loop / cork 5 pretz to 3... who knows. Juho bailed on a prevert dub misty 9. Quinn Wolferman showed his love of knuckles with a nollie dub misty 12 putting him on the top spot again. The podium was shuffling like a deck of cards. Henrik, rocking the party shades and barking more than usual did a switch tail butter dub 10. Finally, my stream let me see an A Hall run putting down more unnamable trick an ollie rodeo 5??? Colby Stevenson put down another switch taibutter 3 dub, Jesper followed it with a tail press to Barani. Colby, Quan, Jesper were your leaders after 3.
Run 4 would be the final set of runs from '24 Knuckle Huck. Juh put down his switch prevert dub misty 9 no trouble this time around - landing past the last dye line. Tom Wallisch was losing his mind the whole time. Henrik laced his nosebutter dub 12 yet again, which put him into 2nd. A Hall tried to do a handdrag cork 7 pull back to 5 that he fell on. Colby, what the fuck, nosebutter dub 14... Gucci plateau. Jespers nosebutter dub 12 had a banged out landing. Super greasy. When the dust settled your podium was....
