All fans of skiing in Poland have been waiting for it very long time! Finally, temperatures below 0 and snowfall came back to the south of the country!
Return of the winter means that next week (31st of January and 1st of February) in Zakopane will take place The North Face Polish Freeskiing Open 2014.
Several snow cannons are already working on Harenda slope, helping Hors Bros crew to build snowpark for the competition. This year riders can expect some new features. The most exiting one, a massive A-Frame Wallride, will allow competitors to show their creativity and some amazing tricks. Another surprise will be double kink. We believe those with a great technique and lovers of the streetride will be especially found of it.
At the moment there is around 60 competitors from Poland, Finland, Norway, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Deutschland, Austria, UK, USA, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia signed in for the competition. Registration is open until 27th of January, and updated card can be found on http://www.pfopen.com website.
The best of them will share prizes worth 10 000 euro. Apart from 2 500 euro in cash there will be waiting prizes from The North Face, Red Bull Mobile, Rexona, GoPro, Armada Skis, and amazing scooter from Aprilia!
Riders in open category will also receive points in global ranking AFP World Tour (AFP World Cup).
The final countdown to the 11th edition of The North Face Polish Freeskiing Open has already begun. In a week will start the most spectacular skiing competition in Poland, so it is about time to book your trip to Zakopane!

Polish Freeskiing Open was held for the first time in 2004 in Zieleniec. It is the oldest annual freeski event in this part of Europe. PFO has a status of the official International Freeskiing Championship of Poland and attracts the best riders from Poland and Europe. It is also one of the most spectacular winter events in Poland.
