WINTER DEW TOUR ANNOUNCES TOTINO’S AS TITLE SPONSOR FOR TOUR’S FIRST STOP OF THE 2009-10 SEASON AT BRECKENRIDGE SKI RESORT
Burr Ridge, Ill. – September 14, 2009 – The Winter Dew Tour today announced that Totino’s has signed on as event title sponsor for the first stop of the 2009-10 season. The Totino’s Open will kick off the second season of the Winter Dew Tour at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Breckenridge, Colo., December 18-20, 2009.
As an event title sponsor, Totino’s will receive tour-wide exclusivity in the pizza and hot snacks category. The sponsorship will include fully integrated marketing benefits, including television ads on NBC and USA Network, online and on-site exposure as well as inclusion in the Tour’s multi-million dollar marketing campaign.

Totino’s continues to expand its support of action sports. In addition to being the title sponsor of the Totino’s Open, starting November 1, Totino’s will run a Winter Dew Tour on-pack promotion on millions of its Pizza Rolls and Pizza packages.

Entering its second year, the Winter Dew Tour is based on a cumulative points system as the top snow athletes battle it our for a piece of the $1.5 million prize purse and the chance to take home the Dew Cup at the conclusion of the season in February. Attendance for the 2008-09 Winter Dew Tour totaled nearly 69,000 and an average of 26 million viewers tuned in via NBC, USA and MTV2.
Winter Dew Tour
The Winter Dew Tour consists of three major, multi-sport events spanning across the country, with a cumulative points system, and a $1.5 million competitive purse. Each event features men and women’s snowboard (superpipe and slopestyle), and men’s freeskiing (superpipe and slopestyle). At season’s end, the overall point’s leaders in the six disciplines are crowned year-end champions and awarded the prestigious Dew Cup. As part of an Alli property, key lifestyle elements compliment the competitions at each Tour event including the Festival village, specialty competitions, and live cutting edge music. The Winter Dew Tour is broadcast live on NBC Sports with additional competition and lifestyle broadcasts on MTV2 and USA.
