This year is a historic step for Windells boasting the first private 730-T wire handle tow lift used in the United States that “will bring Mt. Hood into the 21st century,” according to Tim Windell. Also added to the campus are pristine BMX trails and free ride mountain bike courses, as well as additional concrete structures throughout The Concrete Jungle. The indoor skatepark named “Bob” has also received a facelift to match the newly renovated cabins and facilities.
Also new for 2009 is our “Pro-built features” campaign where every session, Pat Milberry will select a Pro rider to build anything of their choosing on Windells Terrain Park. His contact list is huge and rumors of Danny Kass and the “Kassettes” putting in some heavy digging time on Mt. Hood are abundant.
Windells is the only action sports camp to offers camps year round. Campers can stay overnight or attend day camps, prices start at $724 for the week and include; lift tickets, instruction, food, prizes, transportation, supervision, video review, camp activities and more.
