Copper Mountain broke the traditional ski pass mold this year,
and it’s looking like the new deal is one every resort will want to copy. By
offering any and all season pass holders from any resort - worldwide - a $39
lift ticket, anytime, Copper has turned the competition on its ear. And resorts
worldwide are noticing.
After
offering the deal to season pass holders for the better part of this season,
Copper plans to keep the offer alive for years to come, and is inadvertently
challenging other resorts to make the same offer, or one that compares. Numbers
aren’t in just yet, but so far the promotion looks like it’s been a whopping
success - and why not? Offering some of North America’s best skiing at a
fraction of the cost of a typical lift ticket is a no-brainer.
And,
skiers and riders that carry season passes at other resorts get the chance to
compare runs - something that’s cheap at twice the price! Here’s to hoping the
move will set a trend for years to come, and for as many resorts - nationwide
and otherwise - as possible!
