The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series (PPOS) Virtual Competition has extended the registration deadline to March 1, 2015, which is also the last day for athletes to submit their competition video edits on thenorthfaceppos.com. The PPOS Virtual Competition athlete roster is stacking up and the first video edits are starting to be submitted. Athletes are encouraged to submit videos as early as possible to take advantage of the complete voting period, Feb. 23-March 6, 2015. The first video submission by John Arendt of Breckenridge, CO, can be viewed online here.
"When I was in high school I couldn't travel to Colorado to compete in something like the U.S. Open," explained The North Face Athlete Tom Wallisch on NewSchoolers.com. "If I could have skied an event like this and done well, it would have been huge. I feel like it is just a sweet way to work toward a set of tricks and then see how you compare to others."
The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series 2015 Virtual Competition invites athletes to film and edit their dream slopestyle or halfpipe runs for a chance to win incredible prizes including a cash purse of $10,000, The North Face gear packages, GoPro cameras, and the chance to film and ride with Tom Wallisch in his new project "Good Company."
