Spring skiing is like the calm after the storm - days get longer, snow becomes softer and the air becomes warmer. There's no rush to find fresh powder or frozen toes in ski boots. Après doesn't have a beginning or end. Most resorts close early in April and end up skipping some of the best snow days of the year, but not Abasin. The ski area stayed open until June 3rd, allowing Colorado's snow-enthusiasts to soak up every last bit of slush they can find.
