Oregon in the summer is hot. It’s one of the things that makes summer skiing and riding so nice; when else can you shred in just a sweatshirt but have a ton of snow and full park? But, all the perfect weather at Mount Hood in the summer means that staying hydrated is super important and at camp, we’re lucky to have Gatorade as a sponsor to help quench everyone’s thirst.

Last summer, Gatorade put on a scavenger hunt once every session, where groups of campers had to solve clues to find different Gatorade flavors on hill and on campus. On hill, the campers had to find cool bottles of Gatorade hidden at the digger tent.

The winning team was drenched in water from a Gatorade cooler, in the drink’s tradition of dousing Super Bowl and other major league sports champions after winning games.
