Things are not done right in France, snowboarding is seen as a subsport of skiing. It is absolutely retarded situation. The French are great at revolutions, in fact they are probably the best. The Association Française de Snowboard (AFS), a section of the Fédération Française de Ski (FFS), wants to free itself from the parent organisations control because of funding problems. I think this should have been done along time ago. Get snowboarding recognised as a completely different sport, kick those old French racing heritage bastards who don’t like change out of there.

AFS, team up with the World Snowboard Federation get snowboarding and snowboarders the recognition it deserves in France. Viva la revolution!!
