You know the story; the rest of the country was waiting for snow while Windells Camp was sitting on a gold mine. We don’t want to rub it in or anything, but we’re still getting it. We flipped our calendar pages to June and the snow started falling…again! Our first session starts tomorrow and our snowboard and ski campers are in for a great time at the “funnest” place on earth.
Timberline Lodge, our home base for the summer, reported 4 inches overnight and more on the way. Our diggers are working double time to get the Private Park up and running. Even better than fresh snow falling just before summer, and a solid base of 126″, is the fact that our park is 1/3 bigger than in years past. Yup, .3333% more room to shred and better than ever!
It’s not too late to get in on the action! Register for your session at Windells Camp!
Head Digger, Chase Weaver, snapped this picture of our mother ship, the Palmer Lift Station.
Digging a trench for the Palmer lift on the morning of June 4, 2012. If this doesn’t explain the amount of snow up there, we don’t know what will!
