Mont Saint-Sauveur still
the first mountain to offer ski in Quebec
Saint-Sauveur,
November 18th 2008- The new load of snow guns has
impressed everyone. During the last two nights, the snow guns have worked at
full capacity offering us exceptional ski conditions. We couldn’t wait
for a snowstorm to offer our skiers the mountain’s opening. Again Mont
Saint-Sauveur will keep its status of the first ski area to open its doors in Quebec. The Hill 70 OUEST will be ready for you, skiers and
snowboarders with the Atomic Express chairlift.
Staff at Mont
Saint-Sauveur says that as long as the weather keeps giving perfect conditions,
snowmaking will go on and give more skiable terrain hour by hour. The official

Ø Wednesday November 19th
from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ø Thursday November 20th

A total investment
of more than 4.5 million dollars
Mont Saint-Sauveur is
proud of its grand opening with more than 4.5 million dollars in investment
such as the only new chairlift in Quebec.
This quad chair equipped with a loading carpet will replace the triple chair La Nordique and will
increase the loading capacity from 1 850 person/hour to 2 400. Mont
Saint-Sauveur has also installed a new snowmaking system in the Hill 70 and the
Nordique slope at a cost of half a million dollar in order to provide us the
best ski conditions. Mont Saint-Sauveur still offers the longest ski season in Quebec with its 172 days
of ski last year!
