Dan Brown and I headed over to Smuggler’s Notch on Saturday for some skiing (read: photos). Dan’s working on a piece for Ski Magazine entitled, “Sidecountry” and he was nice enough to invite me to tag along. Dan explained that “sidecountry” is terrain accessed by way of hiking from the top of a chair lift. We met up with the Hugh, the snow reporter for Smuggs, and he took us through some tight tree lines and untouched powder. Fun times. Dan snapped a few photos.
