That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over - after six long years, the most seriously unserious event in the history of competitions is back! The revival of the notorious Legs of Steel SKETCHFEST will go down on Saturday, 15th of April 2023 at Stubai Zoo, Stubaier Gletscher, Austria with the BIGGEST PRIZES EVER!

Sketchfest is an open team battle made up of three different challenges that will push the teams to the edge of their physical, mental and emotional capacities. The teams, consisting of three freeskiers, will go head-to-head over the course of the day with the winning team taking home a prize purse of €3.000, - and the individual winning most standout performance claiming a week at Prime Park Sessions 2023.

WIN a wildcard to the probably most prestigious, most legit event in the world: The Swatch Nines 2023, which will take place from the 17th April – 22nd April 2023 at Schilthorn, Switzerland! In addition to the team battle there will be the ‘jump rail world championship’ open to all with spot prizes and the winner taking home the Swatch Nines 2023 wildcard!

Here’s everything you need to know:

HOW MANY PEOPLE IN A TEAM?

3 people make up a team. You can have anyone in your team, pro/am, all genders, all ages. Every team chooses a team name.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

No age limit. However, every participant needs to sign a waiver form which will be send out via email after the registration (for minors a parent must sign).

HOW DO I ENTER?

Write an email to sketch@legsofsteel.eu and provide the following info:

- names of all team members + age

- Instagram handles (@) of all team members

- your team name

- your team captains name + phone number + email

Submission Deadline is Monday,10th April 5pm sharp!

We will send out confirmation and additional info the following day.

HOW MANY TEAMS CAN ENTER?

We’re limited to max. six teams.

WHO SELECTS THE TEAMS?

Teams will be selected by our state-of-the-art AI judging system (whose algorithm takes into consideration a range of factors including SKETCHINESS and SENDINESS) to decide who the six teams will be.

If your team is selected, you will be offered lift tickets and accommodation for the event!

DOES OUR TEAM HAVE TO WEAR AN OUTFIT?

No but why not!? ;)

THE VOLTA MARIA CHALLENGE presented by MARKER – in this challenge it’s all about being fast. One person in your team must ski tour to the top of the park and shred back down the Stubai Zoo jump line to the finish! BRING YOUR SKITOURING GEAR!

THE SPIN TO WIN CHALLENGE – the more spins the better!

THE JUMPRAIL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS presented by VÖLKL – here it’s neck or nothing. In this approx. two-hour jam session, you fight not only for your team but for yourself. Show us the best tricks you got on the jump rail in order for us to decide who gets the highly sought after wildcard for the Swatch Nines 2023!

Even though the first ever jump rail World Championships will be going down – The LOS Sketchfest is not yet recognised by the FIS.
