There's no doubt that rap music has played a big role in freeskiing throughout the years, developing a connection on both ends. We have even seen a number of famous rappers take a liking to skiing. Big names such as Redman giving a shoutout to Henrik Harlaut, Cali P writing and recording music for Tanner Hall and friends, but unfortunately it's all too scarce that we actually get to see these guys on the slopes.

We would love to see them get out there more because fortunately for us, it usually results in a good laugh. And that is just what Freddie Gibbs and Curren$y did for us this week. Choosing to announce their new joint EP in an unorthodox manner, Curren$y took to Instagram to post this video of Freddie Gibbs confirming their joint project while on skis. And as expected, it's nothing short of absurdity.
