What started three years ago as an experiment of Germany’s role model freeski pro Nico Zacek has developed into one of the most anticipated events in the freeskiing world down to the present day. Almdudler Nine Knights presented by Fiat has a simple goal: To help revolutionalize the sport of freesking in terms of unprecedented features, tricks and creativity.

Nico Zacek and his team have worked hard over the last few months to fulfill these high expectations and are now ready to present another first-class event on the Nebelhorn and the Skiing Area Fellhorn-Kanzelwand in Oberstdorf from April 19 - 25. One of the biggest novelties is the introduction of a second medieval feature, located close to the Almdudler Fellhorn Park. The construction plans for both features are still top secret, but be sure that there is no other topic on Nico’s and the Schneestern crew’s agenda that gets more attention than planning some mind-blowing obstacles.

After the young Swede Henrik Harlaut won the Nine Knights title for the last two years in a row, Nico Zacek decided to challenge E'Dollo and invite one of the most innovative freeskiers of his generation, and one of Henrik’s best friends: Tom Wallish. Big names like Fiat Freestyle team rider Tobi Reindl, JF Houle and Laurent Favre will round out the 2010 squad of Knights. But a true royal suite would not be complete without a queen and a princess, represented through Canada’s one and only Sarah Burke and Germany’s Fiat Freestyle team rider Caja Schöpf.

But the final riders’ list is not complete yet! Once again, through the open online video qualification "Wanna be a Knight?" every talented freeskier has the chance to apply and join the royal suite at the Almdudler Nine Knights presented by Fiat 2010. So enter now...
