Pit Viper, the brand synonymous with bold, high-performance eyewear (AKA ex-military sunglasses) today announced a new partnership with Olympic medalist and X Games champion and NS favorite (come on now, you love to hate to love this guy) Nick Goepper.

Known for pushing boundaries on the slopes and on rollerblades in the desert, Goepper has been a driving force in freestyle skiing for over a decade. During his recent comeback as a jeans-wearing halfpipe skier, he has become a dar(l)ing social media personality, and we have to admit, he definitely has the Instaskills to pay the bills.

His partnership with Pit Viper will highlight his competitive edge while aligning with the brand’s mission to deliver eyewear that performs as well in extreme conditions as it does in everyday life. Only kidding, but they'll both probably have a lot of fun with it.

For their part, Pit Viper has promised "No more silver medals while wearing Pit Vipers", a quote attributed to CEO Chris Garcin. Given his penchant for Olympic Bronze, that seems a moot point. It may also mean he won't be wearing the product at all, or that Gold is in his future. Regardless, we're crossing our fingers for the full Canadian Tuxedo this season, and a great season for both brand and skier, because you gotta admit, it's a great match.
