Are you going to IF3? Do you want to go for free, or better yet, VIP-style? Good, because Newschoolers has teamed up with our friends at the International Freeski Film Festival to bring you a fun and hilarious contest where you can win two Dakine VIP Passes to the biggest ski film festival in the world, the Nike 6.0 IF3, which takes place from September 15th - 18th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Here's the details...

Bust out your dirty old ski socks, paint a face on them, and make a short video (no longer than 15-20 seconds) of a Ski Sock Puppet Show! We want your sock puppets to tell us why you should be a VIP at the Nike 6.0 IF3, and remember the more creative you are the better (ie: the cooler your sock and/or puppet show looks, the better chance you'll have at winning!). Note that you must be able to attend the Nike 6.0 IF3 in order to enter this contest, and travel to and from the Festival (along with accommodation during it) is not included in this contest (and if you want to win all of that, check out the Salomon/IF3 VIP Contest by clicking here).

Once you're done your video, upload it to the Newschoolers/IF3 Ski Sock Puppet Show Contest page before Friday, September 2nd at 9pm PST/Midnight EST. Once the deadline for entries has passed, the Newschoolers community will have 5 days (from Saturday, September 3rd - Wednesday, September 7th at 9pm PST/Midnight EST) to vote for their favorites. The Newschoolers and IF3 staff will then pick the winner out of the top 10 highest rated entries, and announce it on Thursday, September 8th, one week before IF3 begins. Here's what that lucky puppeteer will win, along with the runner-ups...

-1st place will receive 2 Dakine VIP Passes to the Nike 6.0 IF3 (Which includes admission to all of the movies).

-2nd place will receive 2 Party Passes for the Nike 6.0 IF3 (Which includes admission to all of the parties. Note that you must be over the age of 18 to win this prize. No exceptions).

-3rd place will receive a Nike 6.0 IF3 t-shirt and a Snooz IF3 bandana.
