Windells Camp is happy to announce its first official snowboard and ski wax sponsor, Swix Wax!

Swix is premium tuning equipment. Started in Norway in 1946, Swix is the main sponsor for the World Snowboard Championships in Oslo, Norway and the wax chosen most by Olympic athletes Kelly Clark and Shaun White, as well as the US Freeski team.

Head Snowboard Coach at Windells Camp, Dave “Danger” Boldwin, tunes his equipment with Swix and Danger says, “Swix or nothing.” His favorite Swix products are the Roto Brushes and the hot iron. “Roto brushes make the whole process go a lot faster when I’m doing high performance tuning on a lot of boards. The snow gets dirty in the summer so it’s important that we have a good fleet of brushes to clean the base before it’s waxed,” Danger explained.
