O'Neill x Newschoolers Collection Preview

The O’Neill-Newschoolers collab includes two jackets and two fleece styles, all inspired by the growing freeski movement and Team O’Neill freeskiers, David Wise and Aspen Spora. Key features of the jacket include Frontline Green and Metal Grey colorways with a custom long fit design, critically taped seams, venting, storm placket and a fixed hood/chinguard combo for extra protection from the elements. An audio pocket zip and connector system allows for easy MP3 player or smartphone hookup, while lift pass and goggle pockets, along with a secret stash compartment, provide secure locations for valuable items. The O’Neill-Newschoolers fleece styles have been designed to match the jackets in New Steel Grey and Atlantic Blue colorways, along with technical moisture wicking fabric, long fit, heathered tech fleece and hoods with drawstrings in the color of its partner jacket. All products in the collection feature O’Neill and Newschoolers patches on the front left side and a unique ‘llama and spork’ logo on the sleeve and back label, a nod to the early days of Newschoolers.

As seen above, Schmuck and O’Neill Team Manager Jimmy Adams showcased the new collab at the recent SIA show in Denver, while Schmuck also hosted an intro video wearing the Frontline Green collab jacket during the O’Neill Experience campaign from X Games Aspen 2013, which saw David Wise take gold in Ski Superpipe after Aspen Spora foreran the Superpipe for the second consecutive year.
