@Moment Skis and Newschoolers are hard to separate. It was here, along with TGR, that the brand found its first traction. From the beginning Moment has been unapologetically different and has always made skis that stand out. This year is no different. Their '19-20 line just dropped and there are some all-new designs, some tweaks to the classics, as well as a couple of new models that have long been requested by customers and NS members alike.

The all-new Wildcat 108
The most exciting of the latter (to us) is the full release of the new Wildcat 108. The big brother of this ski (The Wildcat) began life as the Bibby Pro, with its iconic graphics, and over the past decade-plus has proved just too good for Moment to kill off. But there's no denying it's a bit of a beast. Lots of you wanted the same ski but put on a diet and finally, Moment has listened. The little brother is a touch damper and has a slightly tighter radius than the original, but very much the same when it comes to feeling. It's just a little more oriented towards variable conditions. It's a ski that a lot of the team have been on, so expect to see them popping up in edits and movies all over the place.

The Frankenski
Then there's the Frankenski, an established model and Moment's primary out and out park ski. While the new Wildcat has been on a diet, the Frankenski has been eating butter by the pound under the feet of SuperUnknown finalist and complete headcase Anton Linden. The result that it's now a slightly chubbier 98 underfoot and available in a 172 and 182, where 178 was previously the longest ski.

The Deathwish
The bestselling Deathwish gets a new core layup, with ash switched in for pine alongside the tried and true aspen in the laminate. What that means for you is a damper feel with more stability in mixed conditions and a higher speed limit. Everything you love in the Deathwish just with a little more horsepower.

With all their skis made entirely in their own factory in Reno, Nevada, Moment has complete control of their material selection and build quality and it shows. We're stoked to be checking out a bunch of Moment's skis for Roofbox Reviews in the coming months so watch this space. If there's a particular ski you want us to try, let us know in the comments!
