Hi Bikers!

Skiershop and Bike Stowe checking in on this rainy Saturday.  We?ve been spoiled with unbelievably nice riding weather recently, and we?ve all been taking advantage of it to the fullest.  Who knows if it?s the lack of a real winter, awesome riding conditions, or just the fact that this place we call home has some amazing citizens, but the community has rallied together and secured the necessary funds to purchase and protect all 260 acres of the Cady Hill Forest.

This means big things for the future of mountain biking and other recreation in Stowe!  Look for more news coming soon about the planned VMBA Ride Center and other new attractions!

We are proud to announce that we will be raffling off a 2012 Giant Trance X3 through and to support the Stowe Mountain Bike Club!  Raffle tickets will be sold all around town, and all proceeds will go directly to SMBC.  Think of it as a chance to win an amazingly fun mountain bike that?s perfectly suited for local trails while supporting SMBC and the sport you love.  We think of it as a way of saying ?thank you? to the community for coming together and securing the Cady Hill Forest funds, and of course to raise money to build new trails!

 

 

The bike is currently at Skiershop/Bike Stowe, located at 580 Mountain Rd. in the heart of Stowe.  Come by to check it out and the rest of our fleet of bikes from Giant, Intense, and Scott.
