While parts of the Western United States are being pounded with snow and cold weather, the entire country is not as fortunate. Temperatures have not been consistently low enough, which has prevented local ski areas from blowing snow. However this group of skiers in Pennsylvania still have skiing on their mind, and are taking advantage of Thanksgiving Break with friends, dropping temps, and of course, ice rink snow.

Rachel Bock spoke about their evening, "Finally temps have dropped and seem to be staying consistently low, and being it Thanksgiving break everyone is home from school. Every year for the past 5 or so our local mountain park rats flock to our house where my brother has made a couple pvc rails. We mob to the Whitehall ice rink and snag as much of their shavings as we can fit into trunks of cars for a little setup on a hill in our neighbors backyard."
