NOAA Predictions: La Nina has a 70-80% chance of arriving this winter. While nothing’s for certain now this means that northwest resorts like Timberline, Mt Bachelor and Crystal Mountain are set to receive a wetter colder winter. In addition, resorts in Ohio and Pennsylvania are also to receive above average precipitation. This year is also set to be relatively average for East Coast resorts, with slightly warmer temperatures.

Pacific Northwest:

Colder and wetter weather will lead to a great year for the pacific northwest.

Sierra Nevada's:

The Sierras will have a relatively average snowfall and temperatures with northern resorts getting significantly more snowfall than southern resorts.

Rockies:

Good conditions for northern states (Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and part of Utah) although the south will most likely have a warmer drier winter (Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and part of Utah)

Mid West:

The Midwest will experience above average precipitation, but temperatures are average to warmer.

North East:

An average winter in the form of precipitation, but slightly warmer. It will rely more on snow making especially in the beginning of the season.

Alaska:

Southern Alaska is expected to benefit from above average precipitation and significantly colder weather in the southern portion of the state. The north will have more precipitation and average temperature.

I will also release the more reliable Farmers Almanac predictions once they come out.
