With the sun hiding behind a haze of clouds and temperatures still wintery cold, the 1000 contestants took their place on the starting line of the 22nd ?Derby de la Meije? this Friday the 2nd of April 2010. The goal being to cover the 2000m descent as quickly as possible for some, and as spectacularly as possible for others. As usual, fancy dress and good humour were on the cards, to delight the watching public of this unusual event.

The CoreUPT.com team once again put on a good show, with two of our riders finishing on the podium ; Fabien MEYNET and Bertrand CLAIR taking 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Congrats to you both !

A big well done also to Nicolas ANTHONIOZ who took 1st place for the third year in a row.
