Liberty Skis is proud to announce the
addition of Joe Schuster to the Liberty Pro Team. Hailing from Vernon, British
Columbia, Schuster is quickly gaining a reputation as one of Canada's top up
and coming athletes, with film parts in "Look on the Bright Side" (2010), "Ski and
Destroy" (2009) and "Outdoor Graduation" (2009), along with solid competition
results and coaching experience at Whistler's Camp of Champions.
"Cheesebelly" as Joe is
affectionately known to friends and fans also is part of the Voleurz family, a
collection of artists, athletes and filmmakers, which are quickly gaining a
reputation as one of Canada's most progressive forces in action sports.
"We are excited to work with Joe,"
says Liberty's Dan Chalfant. "He's quickly proving that he's one of the
top up and coming athletes in North America and his positive attitude and work
ethic makes him respected and admired throughout the industry.”
"Liberty is a great brand," says
Schuster. "The company makes innovative, environmentally friendly skis,
and pioneered the use of bamboo in ski manufacturing. They're open to my ideas
and support me completely. I expect that the relationship will last a long time
and I'm really looking forward to working with Dan and the rest of the Liberty
team."
Schuster, who just wrapped up shooting and
filming in Chile, expects to be in Colorado to kick off his winter season. Look
