It’s no secret that IF3 has the best movies, and the best parties in the industry. Keeping that in mind, I’ve put together my list of 3 do’s and do not’s to keep you going until the morning. Let’s have a good last night in Montreal.
DO:
1.) Drink water
It sounds rather juvenile to remind everyone this, but staying “properly” hydrated is going to help you in the long run. Your hangover isn’t going to be dart shattering, and your body will thank you. Trust me.
2.) Dress accordingly
Last night prizes were handed out for the best dressed male and female. If you’re laying low, you’re gonna miss out. IF3 is a great excuse to wear those pants you’ve been hiding, and be the thug you are.
3.) Know how to get back to the hotel
Thankfully the venues are close to “The Lodge”, but it doesn’t hurt to have directions on your phone, so you don’t spend nearly an hour trying to walk back and go to bed.
DO NOT:
1.) Lose your voice
I did this, probably from yelling too much the first night. It’s really hard to order drinks with no voice.
2.) Be Rude
We’re all here for the same thing. Our love of skiing connects us, and there’s no reason to be rude. Enjoy the culture that comes with the event. *This goes hand in hand with leaving your friends, If someone in your group is too drunk to make it back, help them out. Basically, be a decent person.
3.) Forget to have fun
As DJ Snake and Lil Jon said, “Turn down for what.” It’s IF3, go all out, but remember to be safe while doing so. The movies being shown are amazing. (That's what this about right?) Get to the cinema and scope this year's hottest films. It’s a great way to catch up with friends, watch movies, meet people, and enjoy our industry/sport. Take advantage of the opportunities that come up.
I’m running late to the first screening today, so I’m out. Have a great day NS, and we’ll see you tonight.
(I stole these pictures from the content team. Thanks guys.)
