Skiing is on one right now, with a banger movie dropping almost every day and plenty of edits popping off too. And just in time to get you stoked for the first proper snowfalls in Europe, and opening days starting to happen across North America.

Movie Of The Week: Daycare

Daycare is the kind of movie that comes along in skiing every once in a few seasons and really make an impact on the direction of skiing in the coming seasons. Unofficially it's the Line Skis street movie, coming from the minds of Will Wesson and Patrick Ring, and featuring the whole team, you can read more about it here. It's not often we see a team make a movie like this, especially from a bigger brand. ON3P has been doing it for six iterations to date and plenty of other brands put out content, but very rarely is it THIS good. Forget movie of the week, this could well be the street movie of the year, although there will certainly be many contenders. In terms of spot selection and creativity though, we don't see this getting beat.

Edit(s) Of The Week: Millicent Mayhem & SaasFaya Pt.3

The park edit is not quite a dying breed but we seem to see fewer of them every year - park edits that really make splash are few and far between these days. But when they come along they make us feel good, reminding us of of the 'Golden Age'.

Check out Jack Finn & Ian Avery-Leaf ripping Brighton a new one at the tail end of last season in Millicent Mayhem, and perfectly pairing music and some fast pace park destruction. The third installment of Valentine Morel's Saas Fee park edits, SaasFaya Pt. 3, sits definitively on the other end of the hood vs hesh spectrum but contains an equal number of heaters in Valentin's inimitable style. Does anyone look better on their skis than him these days?

Crew Bangers: Entourage & The Montana Bandits

Is this a crew battle reminiscent of Carnage Vs Strictly? The Montana Bandits and Entourage are the embodiment of what it means to be a crew in skiing right now. Going out with the homies and going hard purely for the love of the goddamn sport. Going buck, being loose and blessing us with half-hour cuts that warm the soul and fire up the mind for winter. Tune in and enjoy the mayhem, of which there is more than a fair share. We're not really sure how the majority of either crew walked out of the season with functional knees but it makes for great entertainment.

Gritty Street Projects: PRIVE & Crankcall

To round this little recap of the chaos of pre-season ski content we have two gnarly and impeccably curated street projects. The first is PRIVE from Buldoz Gang - a crew on a stratospheric rise to new highs in every meaning of the word. It's frankly mind-boggling they are this productive in light of the previous sentence, but they ski as if there's no tomorrow, and if you've seen a lot of the European winters you'd sympathize with that thought process. They make summer ski movies with no snow. They have no regard for their own safety or tired tropes of skiing, they just get out there and go hard.

Then we have Crankcall from 888anam, another instant Finnish classic. It seems whatever the Finns do in the streets is always miles ahead of the rest of the world in terms of pure insanity. This is another crew we'd never heard of, but they go just as hard as all the others. Do you guys ski rails in preschool or something?
