Every year it happens, fall arrives and a feeling of sheer excitement flows through me in anticipation for the season ahead.  Reminiscent thoughts of skiing Alpine’s many powder bowls run through my mind and I can’t help but dream about sunny afternoons spent with ski buddies at the Ice Bar. Skiing at Alpine is one of my favorite things on earth and I AM STOKED for 09-10 el Nino Powder!

Below is a picture I took last night hiking 5 Lakes trying to get my legs in to ski shape. I can’t help but dream of these mountains covered in thick blankets of snow… aaaah - just a few short months away.
