Hello Big Air enthusiasts!
Today it was time for Henrik Harlaut’s arthroscopic surgery in the injured knee. Unfortunately, the doctor discovered that the meniscus was hanging more or less loose, so it must be stitched back on both sides. The good news is that the meniscus becomes stronger and better after the surgery. However, the healing takes longer, about 6 weeks in fixed position, plus 4-6 weeks of rehabilitation. The goal is to get well in time for the X Games January 28-30 2010 where Henrik is one of the invitees.
Henrik keeps up his good humor despite the irony in that he can see construction workers building the Big Air jump for Winter Jam at the Stockholm Stadium from his hospital window, just 800 feet away.
Henrik will be in the stadium for the Winter Jam to sign posters and write autographs.
