It's hard to believe that it's been 8 years since the HG Skis brand was founded, following four years of prototyping. It's always sad to see any ski brand go out of business, but given the quality of their movies year after year, the announcement that HG are shutting up shop is a particularly bitter pill to swallow. One can only assume that the incredible videos they put out never translated in to sales, but one thing is for certain, those videos will ensure the brand is never forgotten. Some of the East Coast's finest are now looking for new homes, and there are bound to be some power moves in the coming months. But for now, I'd recommend giving some of these another watch and giving thanks to HG for the insanity they've produced.
