Hey There and Happy Friday!

I am sitting here in the San Diego airport after almost a week in California swimming, surfing and synergizing with Ben and Parr. The water was c-c-c-c-old, but the sun was shining strong and being on the beach was an overall treat for our post-winter, white bodies..

While we were in California, Parr showed us some of his new pieces that he?s working on.

Now, I can?t reveal what they are or who they?re for, but I?ll tell you this: these paintings are the highest-quality work I?ve seen come out of Parr yet ? I was completely blown away.

If you?ve ever seen Parr?s art first hand, then you know the amount of detail, energy and precision that goes into every single detail of his work.

These new pieces are no exception ? he never ceases to amaze me?

Tonight, Parr will be at First Friday and he will be selling high-quality giclee prints of several of his latest pieces including my personal favorite, ?The Ancient Pools.?

This is the FIRST time Parr has offered any of these prints up for sale, and I have a feeling they?re going to FLY off the walls. So, if you?ve been eying that empty space on your living room wall, or if you?ve been thinking about getting yourself a Parr print, then tonight?s the night.

In addition, tomorrow night for the FIRST time ever, you?ll have an opportunity to create your own, custom Icelantic t-shirt, using a bad ass new printing process that we stumbled across in Germany.

Our good friend Cody Schneider will be manning the press while you pick out your favorite graphic and t-shirt size, add a little personality and?.. voila!

To add just one more sweet cherry on top of all this, I just want to remind you that Parr will be here tonight and he will have a sharpie in hand. This means, he?s ready to sign and number all prints, t-shirts, giclees, skis, you name it ? and personalize them, of course, if you want.

So, grab your friends and come to First Friday tonight at Battery 621 (621 Kalamath St). As always, there will be delicious refreshments, courtesy of Tommyknocker Brewery, live music, great people, and amazing, some never-before-seen art.
