Highlights

The women kicked things off, with lots of 1080s being thrown down it was Tess Ledeux who turned things up a notch. She laced her signature left dub 16 tindy - probably the cleanest one we've seen from her ever. She stomped it for a massive 95.75. From this, the hammers kept coming, Kirsty Muir, who has struggled to put down a left dub 14 in the last couple of competitions put it down with no worries, this scored a 90, which seemed to be harsh considering Tess' extra 180 scored nearly 6 points more, it may have been to the grab being held for not quite as long. Mathilde, gold bib wearer dropped to put down a super carved and very floaty left dub 12 safety. This scored more than Kirsty with a 91.75.

Tess' second run left dub 10 safety earned 86.50 and put her in the top spot. Kirsty went down hard on a right dub 10 and stayed down for a while, she got up and shook it off. Mathilde's switch left dub 10 didn't have the amplitude to add a meaningful score - she only just squeaked it around, losing points for lack of amplitude.

Kirsty Muir's final run was a HUGE right dub 10 safety, showing a true competitor's spirit to get up from that crash. 83.75 put her behind Tess for a second place she'd have to wait to see if she would hold. Mathilde put some more gas on her switch left dub 10, getting all the airtime she needed to cap a blunt and stomp it. A 93.75 gave Mathilde the lead with Tess dropping with the last chance to change the podium. Tess, another fierce competitor put down a trick I we've not seen from her before, a switch left dub 12 safety. This blew the commentators, competitors and crowd away. 93.25 was enough to put her on top, with Mathilde in second and Kirsty in third. These three are dominating the big air space right now!

In the mens field, the bringbacks were popular in run 1. Max Moffat, Matej Svancer and Alex Hall both lacing their respective variations. Miro Tabanelli put down the first monster score, with a left dub 1980 blunt, held forever, earning him a 95.00.

In run 2, Matej brought out his Tokyo drift flat 180 Japan, super tweaked out. A Hall showed he was human and Mac Forehand, Miro Tabernelli and Birk Ruud put down some massive scores. Mac Forehand, who is quickly becoming one of the best Big Air competitors in the world threw a left triple dub 1800 mute, his 93.00 was well deserved. The axis and style on this were incredible. Miro put down a second hammer, left dub 1800 lead blunt, this score of 90.00 combined to give him preliminary first and a 185.00. Birk Ruud put a classic switch left triple 1980 mute, earning a 94.25.

Birk Ruud dropped with the pressure on his shoulders, he put down a left dub bio 1800 mute, stomped it and squatted out the deep landing, he 'only' scored 89.75, enough to put him in second behind Miro. Matej continues to ski with style and like a cat. A Left nollie dub 10, bring back, to 9 scored 93.50 and with his second run score of 89.75 he sat in third, his style is being rewarded of late. However, it was Mac Forehand who had the last say - his switch left trip 1800 mute scored a 94.00, and this combined with a 93.00 put him on top. with Miro and Birk taking second and third respectively.
