Back for the second season in a row is Dew Tour's Team Challenge event. Some of the industry's favorite ski brands go head to head with their top athlete in each division of jump, rails, and pipe. Last season Team K2 was just shy of the podium coming in at 4th place. K2 have taken a hit from injuries this year, can Sean Jordan and Birk Irving pull off a surprise result and better K2's placing from last season?

Modified Super Pipe and Jumps: Birk Irving

Birk Irving is a young-gun 18 year-old from Winter Park, Colorado. He has been on the come up the last few years, especially in the pipe skiing circuit. Earlier in 2016, he competed in the Youth Winter Olympic Games and won a gold medal in halfpipe. Last week he placed 7th in halfpipe at eh GrandPrix at Copper Mountain. He is currently the youngest member of the U.S. Pro ski team and is working at getting on the U.S. Olympic Ski Team for Halfpipe. We can expect Birk to go big like he does in the video above this weekend at Dew Tour. He'll also be throwing down for K2 on the jumps after Colby Stevenson was forced to withdraw after crashing in slopestyle yesterday.

Jib: Sean Jodan

Mr. Jordan is one of those names that has been around the ski industry for a handful of years. He has spent his fair share of time competing in early Dew Tours, traveling around the world as a video-part athlete, and even being part of the production side of ski cinematic projects. Sean has seen all sides of the ski industry and is looking to take part in the jib section for team K2 this year. With countless years in hitting urban features with style we can only expect Jordan to lace up clean and stylish jib lines at Dew Tour this year.
