Rain is likely to be widespread throughout the day, falling as snow above about 1100m. Precipitation will be most persistent over N and E Cairngorms NP.

Areas of rain, and increasingly snow to a low level, most widespread N Cairngorms NP. Snow will fall above 700, later 350m.

At 900m: 1 or 0C, falling –3 or –4C, lowest north

Freezing level: Lowering toward

450m from north.

Further snow showers, mostly N & E Cairngorms NP, but will ease to just flurries during the day. Freezing level: 350m.
