Newschoolers' Quick Review:
The Bent Chetler is an icon of a ski. They're extremely surfy, float great and are very playful offering infinite buttery fun! They carve well, but they do chatter a more than other skis in the same bracket (ON3P Jeffrey 116, Volkl Bash 116.. even the Magnum Opus) however the new, lighter construction makes them one of, if not the, lightest skis in this size so they are very comfortable in the air. For fun on deep days, they are one of the best powder skis out, but for charging, I'd say there are now better options even in the jibby bracket. -Twig
Manufacturer's Description:
How does a legend live on? One way: offspring. That’s why the Bent Chetler family is getting bigger. With two new shapes, skiers can ride Bent Chetler from grom to grown-up.
You know dad – the 120. The visionary ski that sparked it all. It flies, it butters, it slashes and it carves new lines where none were before. With the wisdom of a mountain veteran and the speed and power of a well-oiled machine, the 120 brings float and fun on the deepest days.
"The new Bent Chetler 120 is the same as before, but new materials make the ski lighter without sacrificing the float and playfulness the ski has always had in powder. It also has a new camber profile and in my opinion, charges a bit harder than the Bent Chetlers before it." -Tim Durtschi
