This time last season, I got on my soapbox and ranted like a crazy man before announcing a new series out of NS, Originals. And while you're still probably reading this on your phone, probably still addicted to Instagram or TikTok, and there's about an 80% chance you won't make it to the end of this article, I gotta say, I'm pretty stoked about how the series went. I think it's fair to say that every episode was a heater and I want to give a shoutout to all of you who created, watched, shared, and sent positive feedback our way. We even noticed that some brands started to follow suit, and put out more fire content. Overall, it does feel like things are on the up for the first time in a minute. We're not taking credit... correlation not causation... probably.

There's still a huge content hole in the ski industry though. Starting with... skiers are generic as hell. How many of us are out there living it differently? And no, I don't mean wearing the most obnoxious cut-and-sew pants you can find and hitting crustier picnic tables. I'm sure you are the crustiest, most core skier out (with the richest parents), better start a ski brand and let everyone know just how dope and exclusive you are... but we're talking about actually doing it differently, making a difference.

To that end, we want to do more to highlight those people who ski but live their lives a bit more uniquely than ski bum, trust fund kid, or weekend warrior (delete as appropriate). We're working on a new series called Off Piste, and the first episode with BMack drops soon.

We're also taking a deeper look at spots, and what goes into getting 'the shot'. Patrick Ring is the first in the spotlight here, with a look at what it took to get one of the heaters from Daycare. Why does anyone hit a wooden rail anyway?

And then of course we have NS Originals. There has been a lot of heater content this season but there's still a huge lack of classic park edits. So we're here to save the day again with five more bangers to get you through the season. Our release schedule is definitely fucked, but get hyped because they're going to be good... and the first one drops tomorrow.
