evo, the leading outdoor gear and apparel retailer, is thrilled to announce two exclusive backcountry adventures in collaboration with Arc’tery. Picture this: epic landscapes, insane snow, off-grid accommodation, and the thrill of Whistler's Callaghan Wilderness. It's the ultimate playground for everyone, whether you're a backcountry pro or just itching to dive into this wild terrain.
evo and Arc’teryx are offering a women's specific backcountry progression trip, led by Sandy Ward (Kelkeláokik), an Arc ambassador, Líl’wat Nation member, and Indigenous Women Outdoors co-founder. Sandy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to create a safe and welcoming space for participants looking to progress their backcountry skills. There’s something for everyone too, and even experienced shredders will find something to challenge them on this trip to the wilderness.
Additionally, for experienced tourers seeking an all-gender backcountry experience, evo and Arc’teryx have teamed up with Julia Niles, one of the first IFMGA-certified female guides. Julia's expertise in the mountains will allow participants to access some of the raddest backcountry terrain in British Columbia. The Callaghan Wilderness, nestled at 4500 feet and averaging an impressive 22 feet of snowfall each winter, provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable adventure, and Julia knows all the best spots.
Both trips are promising mind-blowing experiences where you get to rip alongside Arc’teryx athletes and certified mountain guides in some incredible terrain, accessible right from your doorstep. As a bonus, Arc’teryx is hooking up free jackets for all guests, so you're geared up for whatever the mountains can throw at you!
Accommodations for both trips will be provided at the cozy, off-grid Journeyman Lodge. Nestled in the heart of the wilderness, you’ll enjoy epic meals, and you can even hit up a creek-side Finnish sauna.
Lock in your spot now for the ultimate backcountry adventure. It's not just a trip; it's a chance to send it and enjoy the mountains in the most incredible way possible.
