The pipe in PyeongChang is looking good and the Olympic women's halfpipe qualifiers just went down under blue skies, in perfect conditions. On both sides of the gender divide there's a pretty big gulf between the top riders and the rest in halfpipe. As a result, we generally saw safe(ish) runs and there were very few surprises at the top of the order. Devin Logan was the only famous name not to make finals. Cassie Sharpe looked like if she can keep her grabs solid she's untouchable in tomorrow's final.

- Sabrina Cakmakli: Switch 7, b2b 5s, straight air japan, right 7s, b2b switch 5s. 81.8.

- Roz G: right 9, left 7, switch 3, straight air, b2b 5s, right 7, switch 5 (way below the lip though). 73.2.

- Rowan Cheshire: Big 5, alleyoop, left 900 (sketchy), straight air, left 720, switch 3, straight air. 74.0.

- Ayana Onozuka: Left 5 mute, right 5, left 7, switch 7, alleyoop 3. Solid grabs (mostly safety), kind of low amplitude though. 84.8.

- Brita Sigourney: Big straight air mute, alleyoop japan, massive left 9 tail, straight air, left 540, right 7 binding mute. Good run, great amplitude, better grabs this time round but her score doesn't improve. Lacking a switch hit.

- Annalisa Drew: Straight air, b2b 9s, alleyoop flat 5, left 7. Bumps her score to 86.0.

- Cassie Sharpe: left 9 tail, right 9 safety, flair tindy, 3, switch 3 mute, big straight air truck, left cork 10 (missed grab). Best run by a margin, 93.4.

- Marie: Straight air tailgrab, left 5 tindy, right 5 lead mute (looked dope), left 9, flair, left 7 safety. Solid grabs, solid run. 2nd place.

- Valeriya Demidova: Right flair, left 5 safety, right 5, left 7, switch 180 safety, switch alleyoop 3 safety, right 7. 73.8 and she's making the finals if nothing changes.

- Maddie Bowman: Big straight air, left 5 tail, right 7, switch 7, left 9 tail, japan air to fakie. 83.8.

- Anais Caradeux: Left 9, right 3, switch 3, alleyoop mute, left 5, alleyoop 5, straight air, air to fakie. Quite a few missed grabs in there. 72.8 and she's 12th.
