“Don’t make me laugh…”
After the previous night’s depressing event, Geoff, Will, Andy & I headed over to visit Ross at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge in the afternoon. Ross had been admitted to the ICU from injuries sustained while sliding a handrail in Burlington the night before (see previous post). The injuries included, as quoted from Ross’ facebook status, “lacerated liver, contused kidney, emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding.”
Despite the mandatory down time from skiing, which is about a month, Ross seemed to be in good spirits. His only concern during the visit was not to make him laugh as it caused him pain. We weren’t very successful at that.
